Senior Business Valuation Analyst

Present Position
Vlad is a senior valuation analyst in the firm's business valuation and litigation assistance department.

Professional Qualifications
Vlad has been engaged in business valuation, forensic accounting, and litigation assistance since 1996. He has performed numerous valuations for a variety of purposes, including, but not limited to, financial reporting, tax, mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy and litigation. The subjects of Vlad’s valuation assignments included entire enterprises and partial business interests, derivative instruments and other complex securities, and intangible assets.

Vlad has conducted SAS 73/SAS101 reviews of investments’ valuations for hedge funds and private equity firms in the context of financial statement audits. He has assisted clients in solvency analyses, complex business interruption claims, economic damages and investigative matters related to occupational fraud, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and regulatory inquiries. His significant industry experience includes, but is not limited to, Asset Management (including hedge funds and private equity), Financial Services institutions, Energy, Petrochemical, Mining, Steel, Manufacturing, and Hospitality.

Academic and Professional Credentials
Vlad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Bridgeport and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Connecticut. He has completed Levels 1 and 2 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Connecticut. He is also Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) by the American Society of Appraisers.
